Dr. Dani Pope's entry into the world of mental health began in an unexpected place: the softball field. As a competitive athlete, she was drawn to the psychology of leadership, motivation, and what it takes to push through adversity. That curiosity about human behavior — what drives people, what holds them back, and what helps them break through — became the foundation of her career.
Dr. Pope earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, followed by a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She went on to complete her PhD in Human Behavior, deepening her understanding of the complex factors that shape how people think, feel, and relate to one another.
Dr. Pope founded Trusted Results Therapy Group to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and authentic human connection. She envisioned a practice where evidence-based treatment wasn't delivered in a one-size-fits-all package, but was tailored to the individual — their story, their culture, their goals.
That vision drives everything TRTG does today. Under her leadership, the practice has grown to over 50 licensed providers across five locations in South Carolina, with statewide virtual services. But growth has never come at the expense of the personal, culturally responsive care that defines the organization.
Dr. Pope rejects cookie-cutter therapy. She believes deeply in personalized, culturally responsive care — meeting each person where they are, understanding the full context of their life, and building a treatment plan that actually fits. Her passion is helping individuals, couples, and families transform challenges into opportunities for growth.
"Every person who walks through our doors has a story," Dr. Pope says. "Our job isn't to hand them a script. It's to listen, understand, and help them write the next chapter on their own terms."
