General

About Our Practice

We offer a comprehensive range of mental health services including individual therapy, couples and marriage counseling, family therapy, teen and child therapy (ages 3+), psychiatric care and medication management, psychological testing (ADHD, autism, learning difficulties), school-based therapy, and virtual/telehealth sessions. Our goal is to provide everything you need under one roof.
We are a clinician-led practice, meaning clinical decisions are made by licensed therapists rather than administrators or investors. We offer comprehensive care under one roof (therapy, psychiatry, and testing), accept most major insurance plans, provide sliding-scale options for those who need them, and are deeply rooted in the South Carolina communities we serve. Our care coordination team ensures you are matched with the right provider from day one.
Yes! We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy sessions to clients anywhere in South Carolina. Telehealth appointments are conducted via secure video and are covered by most insurance plans just like in-person visits. This is a great option if you live in an area without a nearby office or simply prefer the convenience of therapy from home.
We have five office locations across South Carolina: Mount Pleasant, Charleston (West Ashley), North Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and Rock Hill. We also offer statewide virtual therapy to clients anywhere in SC. Visit our Locations page for full addresses and hours.
Yes. All sessions and records are protected by HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations. Your therapist will not share information about your treatment without your written consent, except in rare situations required by law (such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or suspected abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult). Your privacy is one of our highest priorities.
Yes, with your written permission, we are happy to collaborate with your child's school, pediatrician, psychiatrist, or other healthcare providers. This team-based approach ensures everyone involved in your or your child's care is on the same page and working toward the same goals.

Our Specialties

Psychological testing is a comprehensive assessment process used to diagnose conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental or psychological conditions. Testing typically involves standardized measures, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations. Results provide a clear diagnosis and actionable recommendations for treatment, school accommodations, or workplace support.
Psychiatry involves the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions, often including medication. Our psychiatric providers (psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners) conduct thorough evaluations, prescribe and manage medications, and work collaboratively with your therapist to ensure coordinated care. Follow-up appointments monitor your response to medication and make adjustments as needed.
Yes. We provide therapy for children ages 3 and up, as well as adolescents and teens. Our child and teen therapists use age-appropriate, evidence-based approaches to address anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, ADHD, autism, school difficulties, and more. We also offer family therapy to support the whole family system.
Yes. We offer evidence-based couples and marriage counseling to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationship. Our couples therapists are trained in approaches such as Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Absolutely. Anxiety, depression, and trauma are among the most common concerns we treat. Our therapists are trained in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused approaches. We will match you with a provider who specializes in your specific needs.
Yes. We have providers who specialize in working with healthcare workers, first responders, and other high-stress professionals. We understand the unique challenges of these roles, including burnout, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and work-life balance. Our therapists provide a confidential, supportive space to process these experiences.
We serve clients ages 3 through adulthood, including children, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. Our providers are experienced in working with a wide range of age groups and developmental stages.
Getting Started

Your First Steps

Your first session is typically an intake assessment. Your therapist will ask about your background, current concerns, goals, and relevant history. It is a relaxed, confidential conversation designed to help your provider understand your needs and begin developing a personalized treatment plan. There is no pressure to share anything you are not comfortable with. You can learn more on our First Appointment page.
When you contact us, our care coordination team will gather some basic information about your needs, insurance, and preferences. We then match you with a provider who is the best fit for you. Before your first session, you will complete intake paperwork (available online). Your first appointment will be a comprehensive assessment, after which your provider will discuss a recommended treatment plan with you.
You don't need to know before you start. During your initial session, your therapist will assess your needs and recommend the most appropriate therapeutic approach. We use a variety of evidence-based modalities (CBT, EMDR, DBT, play therapy, family systems, and more) and will tailor treatment to what works best for you.
You can schedule online using our appointment scheduler, or call us at (843) 793-2104. Our referral and care coordination team will help match you with the right provider based on your needs, insurance, location, and scheduling preferences.
We do our best to get new clients seen as quickly as possible. In many cases, we can schedule your first appointment within one week of your initial contact. Availability varies by location and provider, so we encourage you to reach out early.
